TRC Experts provides installation and replacement service for residential wall ovens and similar built-in cooking appliances when the opening and required connections are suitable for the new unit.
Built-in ovens must fit the cabinet opening correctly and be supported according to the appliance design. Before installation, we compare the appliance dimensions with the opening, check access, review the existing electrical connection and make sure the unit can be positioned without damaging cabinetry or flooring.
We check the opening, clearances and support so the oven can sit correctly and the door can operate freely.
We review the existing electrical connection and appliance requirements before final placement.
The oven is aligned, secured where required and checked for basic power-up and control operation.
Replacing an older wall oven is easiest when the new model matches the existing cutout and electrical requirements. If dimensions differ, cabinet modification may be needed before the appliance can be installed properly. We can identify fit issues and explain what must be addressed before final installation.
Nominal oven sizes do not guarantee that two models use the same cutout. Width, height, depth, trim overlap and door clearance can vary. Measuring the actual opening and comparing it with the manufacturer installation dimensions helps prevent a situation where the oven arrives but cannot be seated correctly.
Built-in ovens are high-load appliances. The existing circuit and connection method must be suitable for the specific model. If the installation requires electrical changes beyond a standard appliance connection, additional qualified electrical work may be required before the oven can be completed safely.
Have the new oven model number available and, if possible, the installation manual. Tell us whether the old appliance is still in place and whether removal is expected. Photos of the cabinet opening and surrounding area can also help identify access or fit concerns in advance.
TRC Experts also provides oven repair, stove and range repair and electric cooktop repair across Toronto and the GTA.
