Electric dryers require the correct electrical connection for the model. Gas dryers require a suitable existing gas connection and must be handled according to applicable requirements. When booking, tell us whether the dryer is electric or gas so the installation can be planned correctly.
Poor airflow can make drying times longer, increase heat inside the appliance and contribute to performance problems. The transition duct behind the dryer should not be crushed or sharply kinked. If the home duct is heavily restricted farther downstream, separate vent cleaning or duct work may be required.
Stacking requires a compatible washer, dryer and stacking kit. The installation also needs enough clearance for the units and connections. Provide both model numbers when booking so we can confirm whether the configuration is appropriate.
Confirm the dryer fits the space and can reach the required connection points. If the old unit is still installed, tell us whether removal is part of the job. For gas models or unusual laundry closets, photos of the existing setup can help us identify special access or connection requirements.
